The Interact Programme aims to increase the effectiveness of territorial cooperation programmes by setting up information and communication networks, defining information frameworks and flows, sharing information and stimulating exchange of experience.
All 27 Member States are participating in the Interact Programme, as well as Norway, Switzerland and neighbouring countries.
The Interact Programme is one of the Territorial Cooperation Programmes which are funded by the European Regional Development Fund under Cohesion Policy 2007-2013. The Funds and Programmes Division is the National Contact Point of the Interact Programme in Malta while the Managing Authority of the Interact Programme is based in the Slovak Republic.
