Partnerships for Cooperation

Partnerships for Cooperation help Adult Education organisations gain experience in international cooperation, strengthen capacity, and produce high-quality project results.

Organisations must be aware of the Erasmus+ priorities and consult the Programme Guide before applying.

 

Types of Partnerships

Cooperation Partnerships

Designed for experienced organisations, these partnerships:

  • Improve quality and relevance of activities
  • Strengthen transnational cooperation
  • Support innovation and organisational change

Small-scale Partnerships

Designed for newcomers and small organisations, these partnerships:

  • Have lower grant amounts
  • Shorter duration
  • Simpler administrative requirements

They act as a first step into European cooperation.

 

Who Can Apply?

Any participating organisation (public or private) established in an EU Member State or third country associated to the Programme can be the applicant.
The Partnerships should involve minimum three organisations from three different EU Member States or third countries associated to the Programme.
Organisations must have been legally established at least 2 years before the application deadline.

Small scale partnerships: Any participating organisation established in an EU Member State or third country associated to the Programme can be the applicant.
A Small-scale Partnership is transnational and involves minimum two organisations from two different EU Member States or third countries associated to the Programme.

Who can participate?

Small-scale Partnerships: Any public or private organisation, established in an EU Member State or third country associated to the Programme (Please refer to the list of eligible countries in Part A of the Guide) can participate in a Small-scale Partnership.

Cooperation Partnerships: Any public or private organisation established in an EU Member State or third country associated to the Programme or in any third country not associated to the Programme in regions 1 to 3 (Please refer to the list of eligible countries in Part A of the Guide) can participate in a Cooperation Partnership. Exception: organisations from Belarus (Region 2) are not eligible to participate in this action.

Funding Model

Partnerships operate under a lump sum funding model:

  • Small-scale Partnerships: €30,000 or €60,000 per project
  • Cooperation Partnerships: €120,000, €250,000 or €400,000 per project

Applicants select the amount based on planned activities and results.
