Staff mobility in sport supports short-term learning mobility abroad for sport staff, enabling them to gain new skills, methods, and perspectives. The focus is on learning, capacity building, and organisational improvement.
Who Can Participate?
Eligible participants
- Coaches
- Trainers
- Volunteers
- Sport managers and administrators
- Other staff working in sport organisations
Participants must be actively involved in the daily work of the organisation.
What Activities Can Take Place?
Supported activities include:
- Job shadowing and observation
- Coaching and training assignments
- Professional development activities
Duration
- Job shadowing: 2–14 days
- Coaching or training assignments: 15–60 days
- Duration: 3 to 18 months (?)
Preparatory visits may take place where justified.
What Is Funded?
- Organisational support – preparation and management
- Travel costs – return travel
- Individual support – subsistence
- Inclusion support – additional funding for participants with fewer opportunities
- Preparatory visits
- Exceptional costs (e.g. visas, financial guarantees)
- Maximum 3 grants within 5 call years
- An organisation may submit only one application per selection round
- Maximum 10 participants per project
