Training & Cooperation Activities (TCAs) are activities taking place around Europe planned by National Agencies (NAs) to encourage collaboration and sharing of best practice within Erasmus+. They include a number of activities including Contact Seminars to find project partners and Thematic seminars addressing specific topics in education, training and youth work. Costs relating to travel, accommodation, food and logistics are covered by the participating NAs, selected participants are asked to provide a €20 contribution fee towards the TCA.
Organisations active in the field of youth, young people and youth workers can find upcoming TCAs on SALTO YOUTH, a network of seven Resource Centres focused on European youth priorities. SALTO-YOUTH, as part of the European Commission’s Training Strategy, provides non-formal learning resources for youth workers and youth leaders, as well as organising training and contact-making activities to support organisations and National Agencies within the Erasmus+ Youth programme, the European Solidarity Corps, and beyond.
Organisations active in the field of education and training can find upcoming TCAs on SALTO EDUCATION & TRAINING, a resource Centre was established by the European Commission to support the work of the E+ National Agencies to improve their training and cooperation activities.

APPETISER – An introduction to international youth work

The TCA will look into national and international best practices on the theme of civic engagement, to look at the management of the actors supporting work within civic engagement and democratic life, one of the four horizontal priorities from EU for Erasmus+ 2021-2027. It aims to focus on the importance of having ambassadors and Role Models, sharing best practise, in all the educational sectors is a goal for this activity.

The Laboratory provides an opportunity to showcase and to experiment tools and methodologies developed and implemented in the context of the education and training of youth workers. Particularly the event aims to investigate how the European dimension plays a role in the practice of youth work.
