European Youth Week 2024

The European Youth Week 2024 (EYW), organised by the European Commission to promote youth engagement, participation and active citizenship, will take place on 12-19 April.

The European Youth Week 2024 is being held 2 months ahead of the European elections scheduled to be held on 6 to 9 June 2024. This means that democracy and European elections will both be in the center of the debate. It’s time for youth in Europe to become more engaged in society and to put democracy in action. Make sure your voice is heard and remember to vote!

Main reasons for you to join:

• organise and take part in all sorts of activities across Europe and beyond;
• discuss topics relevant to you and your friends;
• engage in meaningful dialogues with policy and decision-makers;
• learn more about opportunities offered by the EU like Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps;
• get inspired by compelling stories of other young people;
• find out why your vote matters for the upcoming European elections.

The European Youth Week (EYW2024) Activity Scheme

To celebrate European Youth Week 2024, EUPA has launched a scheme to fund activities that enable organizations and informal group of young people to come up with activities which promote youth engagement and active citizenship across Europe. Empowering young people to become active and engaged citizens and encouraging them to vote is one of the primary objectives of European Youth Week 2024.
