FAQs – Sport

As a national agency EUPA only manages decentralised actions, thus with EUPA you can only apply for KA182 (Mobility of sport coaches and staff).

Nonetheless, there are a  number of centralised actions in the Sport sector that you can apply directly through the European Commission. These are:

  1. Capacity building in the field of sport
  2. Small-scale partnerships in the field of sport
  3. Cooperation partnerships in the field of sport
  4. Non-for profit European Sport Events

For (Mobility of sport coaches and staff – KA182) these are the eligible participants:

  1. Coaches and other sport staff in sports organisations at grassroots’ level.
  2. Staff in non-grassroots sport, including those engaged in dual careers and non-sport careers, where the participation of such staff can benefit grassroots sport.
  3. Volunteers (other than coaches) in sports organisations.

 

For Capacity building in the field of Sport applicants must:

  1. Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  2. Be active in the field of sport
  3. Be established in an EU Member State or third country associated to the Programme or in Third country not associated to the Programme from Region 1 (Western Balkans) or Region 2 (Neighbourhood East)
  4. The coordinator of the consortium must be a non-for-profit organisation.

 

For Non-for profit European Sport Events applicants must:

  1. Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  2. Be established in an EU Member State or a third country associated to the Programme.
  3. Be active in the field of sport

 

For Cooperation Partnerships:

  1. Any participating organisation established in an EU Member State or third country associated to the Programme can be the applicant/coordinator. This organisation applies on behalf of all participating organisations involved in the project.
  2. In order to be eligible, applicant organisations must have been legally established at least 2 years before the application deadline.

 

For Small Scale Partnerships:

  1. Any participating organisation established in an EU Member State or third country associated to the Programme can be the applicant. This organisation applies on behalf of all participating organisations involved in the project.
