Partnerships for Cooperation

Partnerships for Cooperation support schools and organisations to work together across Europe to improve education quality, innovation, and inclusion.

Applicants must be familiar with Erasmus+ priorities and consult the Programme Guide before applying.

Types of Partnerships

Cooperation Partnerships

Designed for experienced organisations, these partnerships:

  • Improve quality and relevance of educational practices
  • Strengthen transnational collaboration
  • Support innovation and systemic change

Small-scale Partnerships

Designed for newcomers and smaller organisations, these partnerships:

  • Have lower grant amounts
  • Shorter duration
  • Simplified administration

They provide an accessible entry point into European cooperation.

Who Can Apply?

  • Cooperation Partnerships

Any participating organisation (public or private) established in an EU Member State or third country associated to the Programme can be the applicant. The Partnerships should involve minimum three organisations from three different EU Member States or third countries associated to the Programme. Organisations must have been legally established at least 2 years before the application deadline.

  • Small scale partnerships

Any participating organisation established in an EU Member State or third country associated to the Programme can be the applicant. A Small-scale Partnership is transnational and involves minimum two organisations from two different EU Member States or third countries associated to the Programme.

Who can participate?

Small-scale Partnerships: Any public or private organisation, established in an EU Member State or third country associated to the Programme (Please refer to the list of eligible countries in Part A of the Guide) can participate in a Small-scale Partnerships.

Cooperation Partnerships: Any public or private organisation established in an EU Member State or third country associated to the Programme or in any third country not associated to the Programme in regions 1 to 3 (Please refer to the list of eligible countries in Part A of the Guide) can participate in a Cooperation Partnership. Exception: organisations from Belarus (Region 2) are not eligible to participate in this action.

Funding Model

Partnerships operate under a lump sum funding model:

  • Small-scale Partnerships: €30,000 or €60,000 per project
  • Cooperation Partnerships: €120,000, €250,000 or €400,000 per project

The selected amount must match planned activities and expected results.
