Volunteering Teams in High-Priority Areas

Volunteering Teams in High-Priority Areas support short-term, large-scale interventions carried out by young people from at least two different countries.

These projects:

  • Address common European challenges
  • Focus on policy priorities defined annually at EU level
  • Deliver visible, collective impact within a limited timeframe

Humanitarian Aid Volunteering

Humanitarian Aid Volunteering, under the European Voluntary Humanitarian Aid Corps, takes place in third countries where EU humanitarian aid operations are ongoing.

This action is open to young people aged 18–35 and supports:

  • Short-term and long-term volunteering placements
  • Activities aimed at improving the living conditions of people affected by humanitarian crises

Volunteering activities in the field of humanitarian aid are available from 2023 onwards.

Before deployment, participants must successfully complete:

  • A self-assessment
  • Mandatory online training
  • Face-to-face preparation training
