The Med Programme 2007-2013 is a Transnational Cooperation Programme which aims to encourage cooperation between Mediterranean regions in nine EU Member States, namely: Cyprus, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal, UK, Slovenia, as well as two EU Candidate Countries, Croatia and Montenegro. Other IPA countries may join the programme at a later stage.

The Med Programme 2007-2013 is one of the Territorial Cooperation Programmes which are funded by the European Regional Development Fund under Cohesion Policy 2007-2013. The Funds and Programmes Division is Malta’s National Contact Point for the Med Programme. The Managing Authority for this Programme is based in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, France.
