The beneficiary is a part-time farmer who works his fields for his own consumption. Through this project the beneficiary reconstructed rubble walls along the perimeter of the field so that it can become functional in the restriction of soil erosion and the prevention of topsoil loss from this agricultural holding. Moreover, the intervention also led to the planting of trees along part of the boundary wall of the field to bind the soil together through their root system and prevent soil erosion, particularly after heavy rainfall and other storm events.
