The project entailed the development of an Oncology Centre, namely the Mater Dei Oncology Centre, as an extension of Malta’s public general hospital (Mater Dei Hospital) located in Msida. The new Mater Dei Oncology Centre replaced Sir Paul Boffa Hospital as a Centre offering oncology services and treatment. The Mater Dei Oncology Centre offers advanced cancer treatment facilities in a comprehensive care setting.
