Project Summary:

This project has the objective of rehabilitating the Old Abattoir (il-Biccerija), in order to convert it from its derelict state into a space for creative and economic activity. It is envisaged that the repair and restoration of this building will leverage new economic contributions, including new SMEs and will also stimulate employment generation. The Cluster shall also serve as a focal point of design activity in Malta by providing space and support for design and creative practices and organisations, and by networking internationally with other creative hubs, design centers and urban regeneration projects.
