Project Summary:

The project consists of an extensive rehabilitation of the former landfill located at Wied Fulija, located in the outskirts of Zurrieq. The scope of the intervention is to safeguard the environment, remove the disamenity caused to neighbouring villages, and to return one of the most scenic areas back to the general public. Footpaths have been created along the parameter of the former landfill to enable people to enjoy the open space.
