This action helps organisations to gain experience in international cooperation and to strengthen their capacities, but also to produce high-quality innovative deliverables. Depending on the objectives of the project, the participating organisations involved, or the expected impact, among other elements, Partnerships for Cooperation can be of different sizes and scope, and adapt their activities accordingly.
Organisations interested in applying for funding, need to be aware of the Priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme. Interested organisations also need to read the the Key Action 2 section of the Erasmus+ Programme Guide  to get familiar with the programme rules.
There are two types of partnerships offered to organisations to work, learn and grow together.
- Cooperation Partnerships are suitable for experienced organisations.
Cooperation Partnerships: open for organisations active in the in the fields of School Education, Adult Education, Vocational Education and Training, Higher Education and youth submitted by European NGO (Sport is open on a centralised level and organisations are to apply to EACEA)
- Small-scale Partnerships are ideal for newcomers to Erasmus+ as they have a shorter duration and are simpler to operate.
Small-scale Partnerships: open for organisations active in the fields of vocational education and training, school education, adult education and youth (Sport is open on a centralised level and organisations are to apply to EACEA)
